This welding process gas mixture is classified as M21 according to ISO14175 and contains 18% carbon dioxide in argon. It is widely suitable for MAG welding of carbon steel and carbon-manganese steel, regardless of the type of welding wire. The mixture can also be used for welding stainless steel, but only when working with flux-cored wire.
Supplied in a 10-liter cylinder (200 bar). Each of our mixed gas and argon cylinders contains around 2,000 liters of gas at atmospheric pressure (10 × 200). With an average gas consumption of 12 liters per minute, this provides approximately 167 minutes of welding time—equivalent to about 2.8 hours of continuous use
